Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the film industry is testament to her abilities as an actor. Her career began as a fashion model in the year 1970 her rise quickly to the top of the heap. At the beginning of her second decade of study, she was studying the arts and performed before making appearances on the stage in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Russo first appeared on television on ABCs Sable with the character Eden Kendell, in 1987. In her first film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. At first, she was unsure of her talent as an actor but the critics became confident after her steady performances. Her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was a favorite of reviewers, since she stood up to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. According to her, she never had a passion in acting. In 2005 she decided to take a long, self-imposed hiatus. In the film Thor, she returned to her acting. She also starred in her husbands Oscar Award-winning movie Nightcrawler. Then she went on to appear in comedies with a lighthearted tone like The Intern and Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female fighters. She began her professional career with amateur fights, in which she participated in various regional promotions. In the following years she joined Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Since her entry into the UFC the fighter has quickly gained a name in the sport due her achievements both within and outside the Octagon. Namajunas, a Lithuanian-immigrant, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. As a child, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by her at age 18 and went on to take home two fights by submission. Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to the strawweight division of the UFC at the age of 22 in December 2014. Rose has been through highs as well as lows throughout her professional career, but she always comes out with a victory. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in under three minutes the round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time a women had ever competed at a championship level in a major promotional organization all over the world. Namajunas kept winning wins, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Performance of the Night from UFC.
